This photo is not about the camera settings, it’s about being there.
It’s really a case of the lens dwarfing the camera body but i did it anyway.
Searched high and low for a good price for this lens and I am satisfied with what it delivers.
The drawback is the Weight – this lens is almost 1 kg, even heavier than my camera body. And if I add on my flash, we are talking about 2.5kg. No joke.
Anyway here’s what I have.
Mingying will love intentional blur effect of the lens (in camera jargon, we call it bokeh) as a result of this 9 bladed lens.
Very soon, it might spark an interest into macro photography.
But for now, I am just happy capturing small intricate details of things with a little bit of that pinhole visual effect, like a tied up rope here.
